Thunder Mountainworks was born from a simple idea: create art, share adventures, and increase awesomeness.

I’m John Kelley, I’m a Bend, Oregon-based artist and founder of Thunder Mountainworks. The purpose of my art is to share my love of wild places, to protect them, to build community, and to show that it is possible to believe in a world (and be a part of creating) in which these places continue to exist for all people.

I’ve been blessed to travel the world working in the fields of independent school administration, non-profit consulting, coaching, experiential learning, guiding, and global education, and environmental service.
